In the past, in the era of the silent movie, it was the music that followed the images.
In this film the opposite is true.

The cartoonist Grégoire Pont shows us what he sees when he hears an extract from Dalbavie’s flute concerto played by Emmanuel Pahud.

The story is about a man who tries to escape from the bustle, restlessness and crowds of the big city. In the attempt to find calm he has an accident and dies. But even in Paradise he finds the same crowds as in the city, not the calm he was seeking.

We all chase after happiness, we don’t enjoy life where we are. Not even in Paradise.
